Refilling & Hydro Testing of 25 42 and 50 Bar Cylinders

At Foamtech Antifire, we specialize in the refilling and hydro testing of high-pressure cylinders rated at 25 bar, 42 bar and 50 bar, commonly used in fire suppression systems such as CO₂, Clean Agent, Inert Gas, and other specialized systems.

Our services ensure that every cylinder:

We follow all regulatory guidelines and industry best practices to maintain safety, performance, and compliance. Whether you’re servicing cylinders for a building system, industrial unit, or a specialized suppression setup — Foamtech Antifire is your trusted partner.

These are typically used for systems with moderate pressure requirements. Common volumes include:

  • Water Capacity: 5L, 10L, 15L, 20L, 40L……
  • Gas Capacity: Depending on the type of gas used (CO₂, Clean Agent, etc.), the gas volume will differ, but it can range between 2 kg to 20 kg (for CO₂, for example).
  • Cylinder Dimensions (approx.):
    • Height: 60-150 cm
    • Diameter: 15-30 cm
    • Weight (empty): 5-50 kg (varies by material and size)

These cylinders are generally designed for higher-pressure systems. They typically come in the following capacities:

  • Water Capacity: 5L, 10L, 20L, 50L………
  • Gas Capacity: For CO₂ and inert gases, these cylinders may contain up to 50 kg of gas.
  • Cylinder Dimensions (approx.):
    • Height: 90-160 cm
    • Diameter: 15-35 cm
    • Weight (empty): 10-60 kg (varies by volume and material)

These cylinders are used in applications with high pressure requirements, often found in specialized systems. Common volumes are:

  • Water Capacity: 5L, 10L, 20L, 50L, 80L,140L, 180L
  • Gas Capacity: Can hold up to 70 kg or more of CO₂ or Clean Agent, depending on the system.
  • Cylinder Dimensions (approx.):
    • Height: 100-170 cm
    • Diameter: 15-40 cm
    • Weight (empty): 12-70 kg (varies by material and volume)
  • Material: Cylinders are typically made of steel or aluminium, with some high-strength models utilizing composite materials for lighter weight.
  • Pressure Rating: The pressure rating indicates the maximum pressure the cylinder can safely handle:
    • 25 bar: Suitable for systems that require moderate pressure.
    • 42 bar: Typically used for systems requiring higher pressure, such as those in industrial and commercial settings.
    • 50 bar: Often used for high-end, specialized systems with demanding performance criteria.
  • Hydrostatic Test Pressure: Generally, cylinders are tested at 1.5 times the rated pressure (e.g., 37.5 bar for 25 bar cylinders, 63 bar for 42 bar cylinders, and 75 bar for 50 bar cylinders) to ensure they can withstand operational pressures.

Note: We also do refilling & Hydro testing of High Pressure (300bar, 200 bar, 150 Bar) Inert Gas Cylinders i.e. IG 55, IG 100, IG 541 and CO2 cylinders
